Amid that growing wave, a small group of international K-pop fans noticed something missing: high-quality, stylish, and authentic merchandise that celebrated every fandom equally. Most stores were cluttered or unofficial — and they wanted something different.
That vision became Best Kpop Merch — a global online store dedicated to bringing the best of K-pop culture to fans everywhere, with love, quality, and community at its heart.
The Beginning
Best Kpop Merch started in 2019 as a tiny online shop, run out of a shared apartment by two friends — Minji, a Korean designer, and Alex, a California-based music fan. They began by selling handmade BTS and BLACKPINK-inspired hoodies, photo-card binders, and enamel pins.
Their first big break came after launching the “Love Yourself” Collection, a minimalist, soft-toned apparel line inspired by BTS’s message of self-acceptance. It sold out in a week — and from there, the brand took off.
By 2020, Best Kpop Merch expanded to include designs inspired by groups like TWICE, Stray Kids, IVE, ITZY, (G)I-DLE, NCT, and ATEEZ — not as official merch, but as fan-created fashion that captured each group’s style with care and respect.
What Makes It “Best”
